For some time during the Ardh Kumbh, the bus stand was shifted outside the city near Rishikul, but now it is shifted back to its original place, even though Rishikul has a bus depot for the buses of Himachal etc. Nearest airport is the Jolly Grant Airport which is approximately 40kms from Haridwar.
