In my last blog we read about hotels near Railway station now we will follow the lead of hotels near ISBT.

You can reach Dehradun by bus also, it is accessible and bus is easily available from various points near Dehradun. From Interstate normal buses to the AC ones and Volvo are also available. The Bus stand is now located at the end of the Haridwar Bye Pass, outside the main city. The Bus stand is neat and clean with many options of food inside and outside the premises of ISBT. If you move out of the bus stand and reach the T point, on your left is the area of Transport Nagar and Doon Business Park. There are some hotels on that side which are accessible and not even costly.

On the right side towards Saharanpur Chowk, if you board an auto/tempo, you will cross Niranjanpur Mandi and Patel Nagar. There is n-number of hotels offering comfortable stay at affordable rates.

On the way you will find hotel Western Blu in Shimla by-pass, it is a large hotel with many rooms and extraordinary services to offer. Before reaching that point you have many options like Hotel Viceroy Inn, Onix Hotel and Hotel Laxmi Palace, great ones for a luxurious and snug stay.

From budget hotels you can pick either Paras Guest House or Sidra Guest House both of them are inexpensive and gives you a nice homely environ to stay.

After crossing Western Blu, you will see Pearl Grand and Pushpanjali Residency, both of them are nearby and famous for its cordial staff. Hotel Royal Legacy has been yet another perk for those looking for luxury in affordable rates, the hotel is large and offers fully furnished AC as well as Non AC rooms.

Whereas, if you are looking forward for a comfy stay and classy ambience with a spice of professional staff, book a room at Hotel Kingfisher or Hotel Doon Castle. They are prominent when it comes to comfort at its best.

Now to pick my favourite again, it would be surely Elysee Hotel, it is a luxurious hotel, but yet so reasonable which makes you go rara with joy. The most beautiful part of the hotel is the outer appearance, there is a ladder sort of structure and mind blowing architecture gifted to this brand name Elysee. They have an eating outlet too, and staying there can be your best ever experience, at least the ambience speaks volumes. The chandelier was the first thing I noticed in there, I guess you would do that too.

Once you reach Sahranpur Chowk, Prince Chowk is also nearby and so in 15 minutes or so from ISBT, all the hotels near Railway Station would be accessible to you again (for hotels near the station, read my previous blog!.

The best part about Dehradun is, even though its’ a big city, all areas are accessible due to so many local transportation options. With the traffic administration being effective, it becomes easier for the traveller to roam about and explore.
