DehraDun, the capital of Uttarakhand, has undergone multiple changes ever since it was declared the capital. In the name of development, the city has seen rise in the traffic, real estate development, which eventually has resulted in chopping off the trees in the area. The cutting off the trees has definitely impacted the climate of the city.
The city which witnessed the snowfall in the late 1970s, has seen sharp rise in the tempratures. Even from the rainfalls perspective, the city witnesses lesser rains now, as compared to the past.
The winters of DehraDun sees the low temprature of around 3-4 degree celcius. While the high temperature goes upto 40 degree celcius.
The figures mentioned above change every year and the usual trend is the figures going up.
