The Best Way To Choose From Delhi To Rishikesh

Rishikesh, the starting point of the char Dham yatra is well connected to the Indian capital, with distance close to 250 km. The most preferred route is via NH-58 highway and goes through the major cities like Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Roorkee and Haridwar on the way, covering two state – Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The roads are well connected to the spiritual city and the journey may take 5 – 6 hours, depending on the traffic. There are government buses, trains as well as taxis available to travel on this route. This route becomes busy during the summers when the tourists travel for Char Dham yatra or to the hill stations like Mussoorie.

During the Kumbh Mela and Kanwar month, the route is very busy and most of the road traffic is diverted to some other routes.

Delhi to Rishikesh offers multiple refreshing points for the tourists, with some prominent names as well, including Haldiram, Bikanerwala, and McDonald.

On the way from Roorkee to Haridwar, there is a famous Patanjali Ayurvedic center, founded by yoga guru Baba Ramdev. Tourists from all over India visit Patanjali Ayurvedic center, which is famous for curing the diseases in a natural way.

As the tourists enter Uttarakhand, they can feel the difference in air pollution, which is relatively low in the hilly state.
