DehraDun IT Park, The IT Park of DehraDun

State Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand (SIDCUL) has set up a dedicated land and infrastructure for promoting the IT companies to set up their offices in the state capital of Uttarakhand. The IT park is located on Sahastradhara road in DehraDun and covers approximately 60 acres of land. The area is being developed by STPI - Software Technology Park of India.

They have a dedicated website: www.dehradunitpark.com for information on the IT park. The IT park is capable of hosting multiple offshore development centers (ODC) for the multinational companies, providing infrastructure etc.

Software Technology Park of India, an initiative of Government of India for promoting Information Technology in India, has DehraDun chapter. They have an office in DehraDun IT Park.

The government has even provided high speed fibre optic internet connection, in order for the IT companies to operate better at the ODC.

With the kind of infrastructure provided in the IT park, it seems that DehraDun is all poised to become next generation IT hub of India.

DehraDun IT Park is located on Sahastradhara Road, on the road that connects DehraDun with Sahstradhara, the popular summer picnic spot near DehraDun. It is around 10km from DehraDun clock tower.
