Detail Itinerary (06 Night - 07 Days)

Day 01 : Delhi - Haridwar - Rishikesh
Morning transfer to railway station and from here board the  AC train for Haridwar at 06:50 hrs. Arrival at Haridwar by 11:25 hrs. On arrival meet our guide and transfer to Rishikesh by road & check into hotel. In the evening visit the Ganga Ghat for the famed Aarti ceremony on the banks of river Ganga. The ceremony held at the Parmarth Ashram is thought to be the most spectacular of all! Back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 : Rishikesh - Karnprayag - Mundoli
Post breakfast, drive to Mundoli (240 km/8-9 hrs) via the sacred river confluences at Devprayag, Rudraprayag and Karnprayag. Arrival at Mundoli by evening.  Dinner  and overnight stay in tents.

Day 03 : Mundoli - Wan - Bedni Bugyal (3350 mts/11000 ft)
In the morning drive 10 kms to Wan a village , which is the road head for the trek. The trek covers approximately 11 km (5-6 hrs) to reach Bedni Bugyal, probably one of the best camping sites in the Garhwal Himalayas. Dinner and overnight stay in tents. Bedni Bugyal is a charming green meadow adorned with flowers in  spell binding varieties, in full bloom! Bedni Kund is a small lake situated in the midst of the meadows, where Tarpans are offered by the devotees. Situated nearby is a small temple where the devotees pay their obeisance, during their halt at Bedni Bugyal. The sprawling grassland is dubbed the most picturesque high altitude in Asia, and the opportunity to take some of the best pictures you have ever clicked are quite high (weather permitting) Overnight in tents.

Day 04 : Bedni - Ali Bugyal - Bedni (10 kms/4 hrs)
Trek up to another grassland, not in any way lesser than Bedni – the Ali Bugyal(3300 mts).  This Bugyal like the other are formed when the air becomes so rare that trees cannot sustain growth- owing to the less oxygen content! The trees on the flanks of the grassland are modified , and become dwarfed. The eco system of these grasslands is so fragile that if a clump of grass measuring 1ft X 1ft is damaged or uprooted, it may take well over 50 years to regenerate, so gentle care has to be taken in order to preserve the same! Use any opportunity to take good pictures, as the weather at these altitudes changes in a matter of minutes! After exploring the area trek back to Bedni for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05 : Bedni Bugyal - Wan (2436 mts/8000 ft)
Retrace your steps towards Wan, making a speedy progress on the downhill path. This will take 3-4 hrs. Dinner and overnight in tents.

Day 06 : Wan - Rishikesh (2200 mts /7200 ft)
After an early breakfast drive down the winding road through the narrow Ganga valley to Rishikesh. Lunch enroute. Arrival at Rishikesh by evening. Upon arrival check into hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 07 : Rishikesh - Haridwar - Delhi
