Movie Review: The title gives it away: The movie ought to be about second marriage; the search for chance II ought to be online. Even the fact that it's not the couple -- elderly with a grown up son and daughter respectively -- but their children who are going to get their widower papa (Suneel) to find divorced mama (Shorma), and vice versa, is seen and heard of. Yet, there is something that you don't really mind hearing out - the fact that second chance dene ka.
Here as long as the planning is in process - all that wedding tamasha, honeymoon planning and happily-ever-after dream, the fun is there. As for the performances, while daddy Suneel and mummy Shorma do carry out a somewhat okay act - it's more about the script for them, it's beta Akshay and beti Poonam who are ready to break all boundaries of society.
Yes, the real drama begins when the same kids (Poonam and Akshay) instead of going the would-be-brother-sister way end up going the will-always-be-there-for-each-the way. |
