Hopetown is a fully residential school for girls. It took in its first group of students in April 1999. Hopetown currently accommodates approximately 500 girls from different parts of India and neighbouring countries. Hopetown Girls' School, founded in 1999, is situated in the Doon Valley, adjacent to the Selakui forests. It is a fully residential, CISCE ( Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations) school for girls from the age of 10 - 18.
