Nirmal Ashram Gyan Daan Academy (NGA) was founded on September 21, 2003 by His Holiness Mahant Baba Ram Singh Ji Maharaj amidst a big gathering a holy men, ascetics, ordinary mortals and men and women who had dedicated themselves to the service of God. Amidst the chanting of Gurbani, Mahant Baba Ram Singh Ji Maharaj and Sant Jodh Singh Ji Maharaj of Nirmal Ashram, Rishikesh, laid the foundation stone of NGA at the village Khairi Kalan, Rishikesh. It is an educational institution which imparts quality education to the children of those who could not afford to send their children to a good school. The school building was made ready for its inaugural session on April 02, 2004 when 178 children were selected for LKG to II Classes.
Today NGA has 801 students in classes LKG to X, A class is being added every year to make it a full fledged Senior Secondery School. Nirmal Ashram Gyan Daan Academy is spread over 16,194 square meters with 52 fully furnished rooms. Facilities include a well stacked library, well-equipped computer lab, science labs, music rooms, audio/visual room, sports room and mid-day meal halls. In addition, indoor and outdoor recreational facilities are also provided for the all round development of the students.
Furthermore, it maintains a staff to student ratio of 1:50 in order to give proper attention and care to each individual student.
The meticulous planning, constant supervision and guidance of Sant Jodh Singh Ji Maharaj has made it possible for Nirmal Ashram Gyan Daan Academy to achieve and maintain its mission and objectives. Furthermore, the ongoing support of devotees serves to be a fundamental component for the success of this great noble work and bright future of the students.
Being health consious, Nirmal Ashram has started its own Nirmal Bakery at NDS( A sisterly concerned institution of NGA) to supply fresh and healthy food to its students and staff.
NGA has a spacious campus, amidst rich greenery and pollution-free environment. The Academy premises blossoms with various kinds of beautiful flowers and evergreen trees imarting an aesthetic aura to the surroundings throughout the year.
